November at FBS

November 2017 was a busy month for me at Flat Black Studios. On Halloween, I engineered for Anthony Worden. We tracked some background vocals with Arin Eaton and I pulled double and played bass on a few tracks. That weekend I came in to play some whacked-out guitar for Good Morning Midnight. Luke was engineering so it was nice to come in just as a session player. I did some spaced out leads and made some synth-y pads using the infinite setting on my Cathedral Reverb.

Colleen from Cedar Rapids and Hot Room from Iowa City did two days each to record and mix EPs. Good Morning Midnight and River Glen come in over the Thanksgiving weekend. Nate Montover and producer Sage Satterfield round out the month, and I'll also be sneaking in to finish guitar and mixing on the next Karen Meat record due out in the spring.
